Summer Math Instructor - Part Time
Sun Ray has a Summer Math Instructor position available at
our Summer Program in Carrollton, TX, for experienced individuals
to work students ranging from 1st grade to 6th grade.
The Summer Math Instructor's main focus is to implement creative
ideas, activities, and stimulating lessons to involve the
children in the classroom. Responsible for the preparation
of the classroom environment including pre-activity set up.
Ensure the classroom materials are in superior quality and
adequate supply. Observe and inform pareent(s) of the progress
of each individual child. Maintain an appropriate atmosphere
of safety, learning, and fun, in line with the Sun Ray philosophy.
Exhibit a sense of calm, consistency, grace and courtesy toward
the children in the classroom. Candidates should have previous
experience working with young children. Also, each teacher
must have excellent communication skills both oral and written
with flexibility to work with age groups 6 years to 12 years
old. Summer Math Instructors must be available to work Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 12 pm. A degree or current
enrollment in an Early Childhood or related major strongly
preferred.

Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication
skills required. A strong knowledge and experience preferred
in subjects expertise. Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and relentless
dedication to children are musts. Qualify instructors must
demonstrate successful urban classroom teaching experience.
A teacher certification is preferred.
Starting Date: To Be Determine
Compensation: $20 per hour.
